Podcast: Who Is Mark Hendricks - Internet Success System

Featured, Internet Marketing, Interviews, Mark Hendricks, Podcasts May 17th, 2008

I had the great privilege to interview Mark Hendricks from the Internet Success System (ISS). What an interview! Mark shares his experiences readily and his passion to help others become successful becomes apparent throughout the interview.

This interview focuses mostly on “the man behind the mask”, as opposed to focusing the programs that Mark runs. I found it enlightening to learn about the person and, if I was already a member of Marks programs, I most certainly would be after this interview.

PODCAST: Social Marketing in The 21st Century, Do You Risk Becoming Extinct?

Podcasts, Social Marketing, Web 2.0 May 16th, 2008

My Media SystemA blog post by John Mariotti yesterday, stated that REAL business people don’t use (and won’t use) Social Media Marketing. The article goes on to provide 10 reasons why Mr Mariotti won’t use social media and whilst some of his points have merit, I was left quite flabbergasted as to his main reasonings.

An interesting point of view, that REAL business people don’t use social marketing. Really? In the offline world, I wonder what would you call Conventions, Seminars, business mixers and the like? Certainly, there is an aspect of social marketing there, isn’t there?

About Diane Corriette

A CD on making money online was the thing that started her career and she has spent the last two and a half years developing her business with the help of mentors. Internet Marketing April 10th, 2008

Today, I had a fascinating discussion with a group of marketers about Twitter and SEO. The discussion centered around the fact that Twitter provides great Spider Bait and because of this you should be “Tweeting” your links to Twitter. During the discussion is was also asserted that because Twitter is good Spider Bait the more Followers the better. Here’s the logic behind this.

PODCAST: My Internet Marketing Mistakes, by Diane Corriette

Diane Corriette, Internet Marketing, Podcasts, Social Marketing April 1st, 2008

I “met” Diane Corriette online through the Womens Internet Marketing Social Network (part of the Womens Internet Marketing Alliance). Diane is a mother of 3 who makes her living from the Internet.

Over the last couple of months, Diane has impressed me with her approach to Internet Marketing and how she supports other marketers.

Diane released an EBook last week, in response to a number of requests for help that she had received. This EBook is not only in electronic printed format, Diane has taken the time to record it to an audio as well. There is no excuse for not “reading” it.
