How would you like to find out how a happy grandma and her sister put together 28 quick ideas to “Beat The Blues”?

Join me, Charly Leetham on July 7, 2008, as I talk with Joan Adams and Betty DeLorme about their EBook “Banish The Blahs and Be Happy”.

Banish The Blahs and Be Happy is a great concept! A compilation of 28 quick ideas that anyone can use to help as a pick me up, a way of refocusing for a positive mental attitude or just plain “beating the blues”.

Banish The Blahs is an Ebook created by Joan Adams and sister, Betty Delorme, and a fantastic group of guest writers. The advice and (extremely) simple exercises provided in the book is amazing and I find that everytime I read it, I get a smile on my face.

Join this live Teleseminar and listen as I speak with Joan and Betty about their new book.

When? July 7 at 8pm EDT

Register for this teleseminar and receive all the call in details and a fantastic special bonus, just for registering.

This call will be live and you will have the opportunity to question these two amazing ladies about their EBook and their experiences….. this is a not to be missed opportunity!

Do it now so you won’t forget!

This post is a follow on from my recent post “Using Physical Info Products To Create A Residual Income“. One of the things that is always hard to visualize is how the end product will look. Sure, with digital products you see what it looks like as you create it. However, when you outsource the creation and delivery of your physical product, you really want to know that it is going to “look good”.

Let me put your mind at rest…. I have received some photos of the final product that is received by your customer. Of course, the art work shown in these photos will differ - it will be your own art work that appears. However, here’s what your customers will receive:

Product is delivered in a plain bubble wrap envelope. No markings or advertising from fulfillment house are displayed.

The CD or DVD is delivered shrink wrapped, providing a feeling of professionalism to your customer. You can be assured that there will be no marking or scratches on the outer case when the customer receives the product.

The final product. The CD or DVD is finished professionally with your graphics. You can also add notes or a booklet on the inside of the case. Excellent for a small manual or perhaps a catalogue of your other products / services.

I may have also forgotten to mention that as part of the fulfillment process, each publisher gets a FREE sample copy (incl. free shipping) of their finished product. This will give them an opportunity to review their product before they put it up for sale. You can be assured of the quality of what you are selling.

With DiscMojo, you are able to automate the entire ordering and fulfillment process. Kunaki is the fulfillment house and I have heard colleagues rave about its services however, the ordering process (until now) is manual. Install DiscMojo on your server and you will be able to completely the process.

As one of my friends in the Internet Marketing world says - don’t do as the gurus say, do as the gurus do.

Looking at what many of the gurus are doing, and have been doing over the last few years I noticed that many of them have been delivering their training packages and products in a physical format and charging a lot more than the same digital download product.

I have looked into delivering physical versions of my products previously but found it all too difficult and, when everything is taken into consideration, all too expensive. The expense is generally because I wanted to do a “short run” production and the per unit costs are high as a result or, to bring to the per unit cost down, a large up front investment is required.

Wouldn’t you love to be able to convert your digital products, Audio/Video content, PLR products or resale rights products to PHYSICAL CD/DVD’s and deliver them to your customers quickly, easily, and cost effectively?

There are two reasons why you should consider selling physical products.

1. Physical products have a high perceived value and sell for much higher prices than digital products.
2. Physical products have very low refund rates and almost always keep your customers satisfied!

However, not withstanding the business benefits to ourselves, what about the benefits to our customers of physical products?

I love listening to audios of teleseminars and training courses in the car while I’m driving, or waiting for the kids, and I don’t have a MP3 CD player in the car. So physical CDs are a must. Whilst I know I can convert MP3s to CD format, it takes time and I need to do it - which generally doesn’t happen. I would be much happier just getting the courses in physical format.

I recently found a product that will help me convert my digital products to a physical info product. No need to waste hours of time trying to package, label and ship your CD/DVD’s to your customers.

Disc Mojo Software will completely automate the process and deliver the products to your customer’s doorstep. It interfaces with Kunaki, so once you upload your product to Kunaki and set up Disc Mojo on your server you are all set to receiver orders.

Customer orders are taken using the order page Disc Mojo creates, your product will be burned into CD’s, professionally packed and delivered to your customer using kunaki CD fulfillment service.

I know a number of marketers who use Kunaki already and I’m sure they will love this next step to automate their product delivery.

I myself have already purchased DiscMojo and I’m looking forward to delivering my content in physical format very soon.

This is certainly a product that any marketer who creates their own content, or wants to create their own content, should consider buying.

An interesting debate (I suppose you could call it that) is surfacing about Internet Marketers using Twitter.

What’s the fuss about? Well, any one who is a “honourable” Internet Marketer will know that we are often “tarred with the same brush” as the “spammers”, charlatans and scammers that abound on the ‘Net. Certainly, I held this kind of belief before I did my research on starting an online business. However, after a LOT of research and searching, I have found that whilst there are scammers and spammers, many Internet Marketers are doing the right thing, creating valuable products and, quite rightly, making a living by marketing their creations on the Internet.

The issue is though that there is a portion of the Internet community that appears to hold all Internet Marketers in contempt and refuse to believe that Internet Marketers could in fact contribute anything worthwhile.

Today, in a blog post titled Wake Up Call: Web 2.0 Wouldn’t Exist Without Internet Marketers, John Reese felt compelled to respond to two blog posts in a fairly strong manner.

The two blog posts referenced by John are Is Twitter Vulnerable To Marketer Attack? (by Mark Hopkins from mashable) and Pending Sign Of The Twitter Apocalypse: It’s Being Talked About By Internet Marketers (by blogger Duncan Riley from The Inquisitr).

These posts indicate that the writers feel that an “invasion of Internet Marketers” is akin to an apocalypse. Duncans post references John Reese’s invitation to his subscriber list to join him on Twitter……

John has responded in his blog post and references the actual text of his invitation email which clearly states:

“Observe how others post and you’ll quickly learn the culture, etiquette, and uses for Twitter.”

Seems pretty clear to me that John isn’t inviting his “Internet Marketing Mates” to come and blast everyone with offers….. also, take a look at Johns Public Twitter profile - I don’t believe that John has really promoted any of his “stuff” via Twitter. In fact, on June 12, John sent a series of Tweets likening the use of Social Media Advertising to promoting a MLM at a dinner party…. (to my mind it’s like going to a social mixer and trying to sell everyone life insurance). In fact, I followed avidly the other day a discussion between John, @coachdeb and @jpmicek (peripherally) on Twitter about the use of YouTube videos on your own website…. fascinating stuff.

Sure there are people who abuse Twitter. Just the other day I ‘unfollowed’ someone who continually “begged” others to follow them. This individual was following over 22,000 people and had less than 1000 followers at the time. Their pitiful tweets to some of the Twitter “gurus” along the lines of “Would you follow me, I promise to be interesting” were not only annoying, they were embarrassing.

What have many of us done with this annoying individual? We’ve unfollowed them - no more nuisance. So what if an Internet Marketer sends a marketing tweet? You don’t have to follow them, and if they don’t have an audience then they are likely to cease and desist the activities.

One question I ask is whether the people who are condemning Internet Marketers foray into Twitter actually basing their condemnation on fact, or perceived reality?

Another question is how did Duncan receive the email invitation? Did he receive it because he is a John Reese subscriber?

Another point to note is what set’s a blogger apart from an Internet Marketer really? If that blogger is making money from their blogging efforts, even indirectly, can’t they be considered Internet Marketers themselves? Ed Dale is the first commenter on Marks posts, and that comment asks didn’t Mark use Twitter as a marketing tool to advertise his blog post? Interested thought Ed….

So all of this leads me to wonder, have these two individuals deliberately referenced John Reese, Twitter and Internet Marketing in their blog posts, to “stir it up” and grab traffic to their blogs? Is it a case of “sour eggs” (and if so for what reason?) or is it just a marketing ploy on their own accounts to drive traffic to their sites? If it’s the latter, it’s worked! I’ve read both posts, linked them here and I will Twitter my post……….. just think on that.

One of the concerns that I had when starting to listen to teleseminars was the sheer cost of the phone call from Australia. It can add up, and when you consider that I spend on average 3 to 4 hours a week on the phone to the US now, those costs can be staggering.

Skype is sometimes an option, but I find that when I am trying to do the interview or speak the quality isn’t always that great (it could be a function of my broadband connection) and drop outs occur frequently enough to be a nuisance.

Then someone mentioned a calling card to me to save money on overseas calls. However, not all calling cards are created equally - the underlying service providers may not be all that reliable. So I decided to look around and try a card. I was very fortunate to find a card that not only saved me a bundle of money, it worked first time.

Using the card I choose, costs me $0.01 per minute to call the US. Less than Skype for the US. The card I found, is the Easy Calling Card. I highly recommend it.

Audio interviews & Podcasts are being hailed as a great method to increase traffic to your site / blog. In my experience, that’s correct. I also love doing audio interviews to help with product / service promotion, because I can provide, generally, a unique view of the person behind the product / service. I also just love being able to find out more about the people behind the scenes, so to speak.

I also love listening to audios, I can listen to the audio whilst working. However, I know that there are people who prefer to be able read and see what the interview is about, and, at times I have found a transcription of the interview really helpful.

I have a long line of interviews that I have conducted that I want to transcribe. I haven’t mentioned it to anyone, but my family…. What a pleasant surprise I got when I found one of my colleagues has just set a transcription service.

Joan Adams, a colleague of mine, has just launched “Transcription By Joan“.

Joan is a semi-retired medical transcriptionist and has extensive experience in Medical (Psychological) transcription. She has also worked in sales for FARS, an electronic check recovery system, Access Integrated Networks - a telephone service provider, and Bell-South - another telephone service provider. Joan will transcribe work for you from microcassette or from MP3 files.

Joan is a lovely person to know and I have no doubt that she will provide you with a professional service. If you would like your interviews or audios transcribed, check out Transcription By Joan
